Iffat Naeem, MSc
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Iffat holds an honors BSc from the University of Toronto in human biology and neuroscience. She has also completed her masters from the department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary, specializing in population and public health. Iffat has over three years of experience in research and industry settings that focus on knowledge synthesis and qualitative and mixed-methods projects.
Iffat has a special interest to understand research and its influences in hard to reach and vulnerable populations. In the past she has been a part of projects that focus on primary care access within immigrant and refugee populations, along with projects related to chronic disease in ethnic subgroups, such as hypertension. Iffat is currently a research associate at Health Research Partners. Outside of work, Iffat likes to volunteer with groups aimed to support ethnocultural populations of Calgary, such as Action Dignity and Calgary Immigrant Women Association.
For fun, Iffat loves to go hiking, visiting mountain lakes, and kayaking. She is also a cinephile and loves to discuss movies.
